A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 4 of
Chapter 6 of Title 28.2 a section numbered 28.2-651, relating to Marine
Resources Commission; certain permits in the Lynnhaven River and its
tributaries prohibited.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 4 of Chapter 6 of Title 28.2 a section numbered 28.2-651 as follows:
§28.2-651. Certain permits in the Lynnhaven River and its tributaries prohibited.
No permit shall be issued by the Commission for any floating oyster cage in a water column, which is 12 inches to the surface, rack-and-bag, or other similar apparatus for oyster aquaculture in the Lynnhaven River or its tributaries.
