Summary

The purpose of this bill is to provide for the transfer of ownership, operation and maintenance of certain assets of the West Virginia parkways authority, including the road now known as the West Virginia Turnpike to the Division of Highways. The bill also provides for the termination of the Parkways Authority after transfer of all of its assets to the Division of Highways on June 30, 2020.
