Summary

The purpose of this bill is to mandate procedure as to when parents should be notified by county school boards of school choice options. Underachieving schools are required to notify parents of school choice options at the end of the school year for choices to be made for the next school year. For other situations, county boards are required to notify parents of school choice options not later than fourteen days prior to the beginning of the school year. Methods of notification are also provided.
