A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to continuing education for physicians and podiatric physicians.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous boards and agencies to promulgate legislative rules.
§64-9-1. West Virginia Board of Medicine.
The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 27, 2023, authorized under the authority of §30-3-7 of this code, modified by the West Virginia Board of Medicine to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on November 1, 2023, relating to the West Virginia Board of Medicine (continuing education for physicians and podiatric physicians, 11 CSR 06), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to continuing education for physicians and podiatric physicians.
