AN ACT
amending title 32, chapter 20, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 11; making an appropriation; relating to the housing incentive program

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 32, chapter 20, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 11, to read:
ARTICLE 11. HOUSING INCENTIVE PROGRAM
32-2199. Housing incentive program
The department shall establish and implement a housing incentive program to pay monies to a person who moves to this state from another jurisdiction and who purchases an owner‑occupied home. If the real property is a resale home at the time of purchase, the department shall pay the person two thousand dollars. If the home is a new construction home at the time of purchase, the department shall pay the person one thousand dollars.
32-2199.01. Program termination
The program established by this article ends on July 1, 2021 pursuant to section 41‑3102.
Sec. 2. Appropriation; housing incentive program
The sum of $_______________________ is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2011-2012 to the state real estate department for the implementation of title 32, chapter 20, article 11, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act.
