CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2021–2022 REGULAR SESSION

Assembly Bill
No. 2809

Introduced by Assembly Member Carrillo

February 18, 2022

An act to amend Section 76002 of the Public Resources Code, relating to greenhouse gases.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 2809, as introduced, Carrillo. Greenhouse gases: refrigerants.
Existing law requires the Public Utilities Commission to consider developing a strategy for including low-global-warming-potential refrigerants in equipment funded by the energy efficiency programs overseen by the commission.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
