An act to amend Section 9792 of the Government Code, relating to the Legislature.

AB 651, as introduced, Waldron. Legislative printing and publications.
Existing law requires the Department of General Services to distribute the laws, resolutions, and journals of the Legislature to specified entities, and to sell copies of the laws, resolutions, and journals of the Legislature at such price as it may fix.
This bill would limit the price that the Department of General Services may fix to its actual and reasonable costs for producing those copies.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 9792 of the Government Code is amended to read:

9792.
 All other copies of the laws, resolutions resolutions, and journals shall be sold by the Department of General Services at such price as it may fix. fix to recover its actual and reasonable costs for producing those copies.
