AN ACT PERMITTING BOARDS OF EDUCATION TO LIMIT SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-186 of the general statutes be amended to permit a local or regional board of education to choose which school transportation services that such board will provide to students within the school district if such board does not receive state funding for school transportation services.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow school districts to choose which school transportation services it will provide when the state does not provide funding for school transportation services.
