AN ACT FACILITATING PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN COMPANIES OFFERING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY-TECHNICAL COLLEGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate or allow for the waiver of educational service agreement requirements that prevent certain companies from contracting for workforce development training programs or clinical site placements with the community-technical colleges for purposes of offering such programs at such colleges or at the company or clinical site.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the community-technical colleges to maximize workforce development opportunities and prevent Connecticut from losing revenue as a result of companies' inability to contract with such colleges for purposes of offering workforce development training programs.
