AN ACT DELAYING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE STUDENT DATA PRIVACY ACT FOR ONE YEAR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to delay implementation of the provisions of public act 16-189 until July 1, 2018.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow school districts to delay the implementation of the provisions of public act 16-189 relating to student data privacy for one year.
