AN ACT CONCERNING REVISIONS TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING APPEALS PROCEDURE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to change the definition and calculation of affordable housing to (1) provide relief to municipalities making efforts to comply with the affordable housing land use appeals procedure, and (2) diversify and increase housing stock in an effort to meet the goals of said procedure.

Statement of Purpose:

To achieve the original goals of the affordable housing land use appeals procedure.
