AN ACT CONCERNING PRIMARY PETITIONS FOR OFFICES THAT COVER MULTIPLE TOWNS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 153 of the general statutes be amended to (1) streamline the process for petitioning onto the primary ballot for any elective office that covers more than one municipality, and (2) simplify the primary petition form for any such elective office.
Statement of Purpose:
To streamline and simplify primary petitions for multitown districts.
