AN ACT REQUIRING THE REGULATION REVIEW COMMITTEE TO EVALUATE ALL CURRENT REGULATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 54 of the general statutes be amended to require the legislative regulation review committee to review all current agency regulations and recommend the repeal of ineffective, burdensome or unnecessary regulations.

Statement of Purpose:

To expand the purview of the regulation review committee to include reviewing current regulations with the intent of easing the regulatory burden on state businesses.
