Summary
As introduced Bill 25-801 would align the District’s Building Energy Performance Standards with the recommendations from the Building Energy Performance Standards Task Force. Among other things, it would require DOEE to establish building energy performance standards within certain time frames and clarify that a period of time for which a public health emergency was in effect shall not count toward the 3-year delay for a qualifying building to come into compliance.
