Summary

Creates the "Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Prevention and Education Act." Requires the DOH to establish a COPD prevention, education, screening, and diagnosis program. Requires the department to coordinate a statewide summit on COPD. Provides for the department to employ public awareness strategies regarding COPD. Provides powers and duties of the State Surgeon General with respect to securing funding to implement the act, etc.
