Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 2 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding eligibility and qualifications for public office, so as to provide that, in addition to all other qualifications to serve on any municipal, county, or state commission, board, or authority, a person shall be a legal resident of this state and be registered to vote in this state in order to be eligible to serve on any municipal, county, or state commission, board, or authority in this state; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
