A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT


To amend Code Section 48-8-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to exemptions from sales and use taxation, so as to extend the sunset or termination date for the exemption for fuel used in a structure in which swine are raised; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
Code Section 48-8-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to exemptions from sales and use taxation, is amended by revising subparagraph (A) of paragraph (49.1) as follows:
"(49.1)(A) From July 1, 2008, until June 30, 2010 2012, the sale or use of liquefied petroleum gas or other fuel used in a structure in which swine are raised."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
