Summary

Changes the composition of the Hawaii Health Authority (HHA) from 9 to 13 to reflect Hawaii's diversity and requires the HHA to submit an updated comprehensive health plan to the Legislature. Appropriates funds for the hiring of an executive director and other staff and other expenses necessary for HHA to carry out its duties and responsibilities. Requires the State Auditor to conduct a feasibility study of HHA. (HB586 HD1)
