A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 

     SECTION 1.  Act 240, Session Laws of Hawaii 2012, is amended as follows:

     1.   By amending part IV to read:

"[PART IV] PART III

     SECTION [7.] 5.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION [8.] 6.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval[; provided that section 6 shall take effect on June 30, 2013]."

     2.   By repealing part III:

["PART III

     SECTION 5.  The purpose of this part is to repeal the high technology innovation corporation.

     SECTION 6.  Chapter 206M, part IV, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is repealed."]
     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on June 29, 2030.
