A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO STATE FINANCES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 36-2, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:
"§36-2 Keep full records. The
director of finance shall [keep, or cause to be kept,] maintain,
in appropriate books, a clear, distinct, and full record of all the
transactions and business of the [director's] department[.] of
finance."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
