A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 302A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§302A- Adult and community education; vice principals. Beginning with the 2013-2014 school year, vice principals of adult and community education schools established pursuant to section 302A-432 shall have their monthly rates of basic compensation, as determined pursuant to section 302A-619, payable over a twelve-month period without proration or deduction for periods when school is not in session."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
