A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO CHILDREN.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $          or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 to support the Honolulu zero to three court in a variety of areas, such as the coordinator's transportation to visit children and parents, emergency housing assistance, a secure opening at a residential drug and alcohol facility that will accommodate a mother and child, development and implementation of an incentive program similar to the successful model utilized in family drug court, training and professional development of zero to three court team members and community partners, and creation and utilization of an enhanced visitation and parenting coaching site in leeward Oahu.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the judiciary for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.

Description:
