Summary

Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that prior to the commencement of a road construction project which is expected to have a completion time of 3 weeks or more of the Department of Transportation shall provide each business that will be impacted by the project with (1) notice of when road construction will begin, how long it is estimated to last, and a contact within the Department for answering questions or concerns; and (2) a downloadable document on the Department's website containing strategies for businesses to reduce the impact of the project.
