SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Linda M. (Beyer) Belski of Gurnee, who
4passed away on August 6, 2019; and
5 WHEREAS, Linda Belski was born to Ray and Betty
6(Schueneman) Beyer on January 18, 1950; she grew up in North
7Chicago and graduated from Holy Child High School in 1968; she
8married Roger M. Belski on May 8, 1971; and
9 WHEREAS, Linda Belski worked as a secretary at Lake Shore
10Catholic Academy for many years; she then worked as a faculty
11secretary at Lake Forest High School until her retirement in
122016; and
13 WHEREAS, Linda Belski will be remembered most for her sense
14of humor and the love and appreciation she had for each of her
15grandchildren; and
16 WHEREAS, Linda Belski was preceded in death by her parents;
17her brother, Joseph; the father of her children, Roger Belski;
18and her dear aunt, Marcella; and
19 WHEREAS, Linda Belski is survived by her children, Brenda
20(James) Fackler, Jill (Mark) Kexel, and Katie (Chris) Roberts;

1her siblings, John (Peg) Beyer, Jim (Charlotte) Beyer, Mike
2(Tricia) Beyer, Judy Beyer, and Mary Beth (Lovat) Veitch; and
3her eight grandchildren; therefore, be it
4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Linda M. (Beyer) Belski and extend our sincere condolences to
7her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Linda Belski as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
