2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of James "Jim" Kampe of East Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on April 3, 2024; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jim Kampe was born to Herbert and Catherine | ||||||
6 | Kostecka Kampe in Chicago on January 22, 1947; he served in the | ||||||
7 | U.S. Army Special Forces; he married Barbara Eakins in Las, | ||||||
8 | Vegas, Nevada on March 14, 2001; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Jim Kampe owned and operated Kampe Vending for | ||||||
10 | many years; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Jim Kampe was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
12 | and several brothers and sisters; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Jim Kampe is survived by his wife; his children, | ||||||
14 | Tammy Kinney, Jamie Kampe, Keli Kampe, and Katherine Kampe; | ||||||
15 | ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brother, | ||||||
16 | Frank Kampe; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
