| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Joseph M. "Joe" Hansen of Moline, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on November 20, 2020; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Joe Hansen was born in Quincy to James M. "Whitey" | ||||||
| 6 | and Catherine "Isabelle" Kirchner Hansen on July 26, 1948; he | ||||||
| 7 | served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam; he married Jean | ||||||
| 8 | VanOpdorp-Sandoval in Rock Island County on June 1, 2000; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Joe Hansen worked for the Rock Island Arsenal for | ||||||
| 10 | 30 years; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Joe Hansen enjoyed fishing and hunting in his | ||||||
| 12 | earlier years; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Joe Hansen was preceded in death by his father and | ||||||
| 14 | his brother, James; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Joe Hansen is survived by his wife, Jean; his | ||||||
| 16 | stepchildren, Jacob and Alex Sandoval; his mother, Catherine | ||||||
| 17 | "Isabelle" Hansen; his siblings, John Hansen, Robert "Bob" | ||||||
| 18 | Hansen, and Joan Hansen Holgate; and his nephew, Devin (Lisa) | ||||||
| 19 | Hansen; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | Joseph M. "Joe" Hansen and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 4 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 5 | further

| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
