Summary

Higher education matters. Amends, applying in an academic year beginning after August 31, 2017, the definition of "accelerated progress" for purposes of additional awards for state financial aid for higher education. Removes a provision that provides that the commission for higher education may offer certain performance incentive awards only to students who initially enroll in an eligible institution for an academic year beginning after August 31, 2013.
