Summary

Require the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources to initiate a pilot proxy hunting program within 120 days of the effective date of the Act that allows a licensed resident hunter to serve as a proxy hunter for a licensed resident disabled hunter to take antlerless white-tailed deer; establish requirements for the program including hunter eligibility, disability status for the disabled hunter, application for a proxy harvest tag, and a registry; prohibit use of landowner tag; prohibit the proxy hunter from keeping any part of the edible or inedible parts of the game; require the program to expire no later than July 15, 2017.
