Summary

Requiring the State Board of Education to develop and implement a program of education on the consequences of juvenile criminal activity that includes instruction on the direct consequences of and the ways in which juvenile criminal activity can indirectly affect an individual's life; and requiring each county board of education to ensure that the program is implemented in each public middle school in the county and the instruction is provided to each student at least once during grades 6 through 8.
