AN ACT

To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to federal holidays.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.015, to read as follows:

            9.015. No state or local governmental entity, public building, public park, public school, or public setting or place shall ban or otherwise restrict the practice, mention, celebration, or discussion of any federal holiday. This shall not be construed to limit the ability of a state or local governmental entity, public building, public park, public school, or public setting or place from restricting the use of fireworks.
