AN ACT

To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of Missouri safe boating week.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.180, to read as follows:

            9.180. The governor shall issue annually a proclamation setting apart the fourth week of May as "Missouri Safe Boating Week", and recommending to the people of the state that the day be appropriately observed with activities and events that will result in an increased awareness of the importance of boating safety.
