Summary
An Act To Amend Section 27-33-31, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Requirement To File A New Application For Homestead Exemption When A Change Occurs In The Status Of The Homestead In The Property Description, Ownership, Use Or Occupancy Since January 1 Of The Preceding Year Shall Not Apply To A Person Who Is Still Eligible For Homestead Exemption And Has Been Granted Use And Possession Of The Homestead In A Divorce Decree; And For Related Purposes.
