A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to encourage the use of clean, unadulterated fuels by reducing the tax rate on motor fuel that is ethanol‑free.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 105‑449.60 reads as rewritten:

"§ 105‑449.60.  Definitions.

The following definitions apply in this Article:

(31)      Motor fuel. – Gasoline,Gasoline containing ethanol, diesel fuel, and blended fuel.

…."

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2015.
