A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to require that all decisions of the legislative services commission be made by the commission.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 120‑31(f) is repealed.

SECTION 2.  G.S. 120‑31(d) reads as rewritten:

"(d)      The Commission may adopt rules governing its own organization and proceedings.proceedings; however, the Commission may not delegate its authority to act on matters to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, whether acting individually or jointly."

SECTION 3.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
