A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE armed forces INSTITUTE FOR REGENERATIVE MEDICINE.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Wake Forest University Health Sciences, a nonprofit organization, the sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000) in recurring funds for the 2010‑2011 fiscal year for the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine.  These funds shall be used to provide support for the Department of Defense Armed Forces Institute for Regenerative Medicine.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2010.
