HOUSE BILL 563-FN-LOCAL
AN ACT relative to tuition and transportation payments for students attending a vocational education program.

This bill requires that all payments for vocational education tuition and transportation costs made to a school district be used exclusively for the vocational education program.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen
AN ACT relative to tuition and transportation payments for students attending a vocational education program.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Regional Vocational Education; Payment of Tuition and Transportation Funds. Amend RSA 188-E:9, III to read as follows:
III. Funds appropriated to pay the costs of tuition and transportation shall be distributed in accordance with rules adopted pursuant to RSA 541-A, provided that all payments made to a school district for tuition and transportation costs shall be exclusively for the use of the vocational education program and shall not be diverted or transferred for any other purpose.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
