Summary

To amend the criminal procedure law, the family court act and the penal law as it relates to juvenile offenders. The purpose of this bill expands the crimes for which juveniles, ages fourteen and fifteen, may be tried as adults to include: aggravated sexual abuse in the first degree; gang assault in the first degree; course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree and use of a firearm in the first degree.
