        AN ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to allowing char-
          itable  organizations  to  accept credit cards as payment for games of
          chance
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Section  189  of  the general municipal law is amended by
     2  adding a new subdivision 12-a to read as follows:
     3    12-a. Notwithstanding subdivision twelve of this section,  an  author-
     4  ized  organization  may  accept  a  credit card as a form of payment for
     5  participation in a game of chance.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after
     7  it shall have become a law.
