       AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter  95  of  the laws of 2000 amending the state
         finance law, the general municipal law, the public buildings  law  and
         other  laws  relating  to  bonds,  notes  and revenues, in relation to
         extending the effectiveness thereof
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Subdivision  4 of section 27 of chapter 95 of the laws of
    2  2000 amending the state finance law,  the  general  municipal  law,  the
    3  public  buildings law and other laws relating to bonds, notes and reven-
    4  ues, as amended by chapter 141 of the laws of 2010, is amended  to  read
    5  as follows:
    6    4.  Section  seventeen of this act shall take effect July 1, 2000, and
    7  shall expire on June 30, [2015] 2020; provided, however, that any  lease
    8  entered  into  for  a  term  greater than ten years during the effective
    9  period of this section shall continue in  full  force  and  effect,  and
   10  provided  that  upon  the expiration of such section the commissioner of
   11  general services shall continue to be empowered  to  enter  into  leases
   12  having terms not exceeding ten years.
   13    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
