        Introduced  by  Sen.  LITTLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules

        AN ACT to amend the county law, in relation to authorizing the  counties
          of  Washington and Saratoga to waive certain fees for veterans' organ-
          izations

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1. The county law is amended by adding a new section 226-c to
     2  read as follows:
     3    § 226-c. Waiver of fees for  veterans'  organizations.  The  board  of
     4  supervisors of Washington county or Saratoga county is hereby authorized
     5  to  waive fees, including but not limited to building permit review fees
     6  and fees associated with capital improvements to any post or hall  owned
     7  by  a  not-for-profit  congressionally  chartered veterans' organization
     8  located in such county.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
