       Introduced  by  Sen.  BALL  --  read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
       AN ACT to amend chapter 557 of the laws of 2013 amending  the  executive
         law relating to enacting the "veterans employment act", in relation to
         the effectiveness thereof
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 557 of the laws of 2013  amending  the
    2  executive  law  relating  to  enacting the "veterans employment act", is
    3  amended to read as follows:
    4    S 2. This act shall take  effect  [immediately]  ON  THE  ONE  HUNDRED
    5  EIGHTIETH DAY AFTER IT SHALL HAVE BECOME A LAW.
    6    S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
    7  have been in full force and effect on the same  date  and  in  the  same
    8  manner as chapter 557 of the laws of 2013 took effect.

                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
