A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to electric motor vehicles. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + (1) As used in this section: (a) 'Electric motor vehicle' means a motor vehicle, as defined in ORS 801.360, that is manufactured or modified to use electricity. (b) 'State agency' means any state office, department, division, bureau, board and commission, whether in the executive, legislative or judicial branch. (2) It is the policy of the State of Oregon to encourage the use of electric motor vehicles. (3) State agencies may provide electric power purchased at state expense for the purpose of recharging privately owned and publicly owned electric motor vehicles at state agency locations. + } ----------
