Summary

As enacted, authorizes the department of labor and workforce development, in accordance with the federal treasury offset program, to set off any covered unemployment compensation debt due to the department against any federal income tax refund due to the claimant debtor and revises various provisions of present law regarding the recovering of unemployment benefit overpayments. - Amends TCA Title 50.
