Summary

As introduced, extends, from five working days to 10 working days, the time within which the clerk of a court sentencing a person to a special alternative incarceration unit must mail to the department of correction a certified copy of the sentence and indictment, a personal history statement, and an affidavit of the custodian provided by the sheriff of the county. - Amends TCA Title 40.
