parents. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 42.042, Human Resources Code, is amended | ||
by adding Subsection (p-1) to read as follows: | ||
(p-1) The executive commissioner by rule shall create a | ||
procedure to allow a foster child's caseworker to waive any annual | ||
training requirement for the child's foster parent that is not | ||
directly related to caring for the foster child. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
