| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 25, Government Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Section 25.1567 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 25.1567. MAVERICK COUNTY. Maverick County has one | ||
| statutory county court, the County Court at Law of Maverick County. | ||
| SECTION 2. The County Court at Law of Maverick County is | ||
| created January 1, 2022. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect January 1, 2022. | ||
