BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 212.0065(a), Local Government Code, is | ||
amended to read as follows: | ||
(a) The governing body of a municipality may delegate to one | ||
or more officers or employees of the municipality or of a utility | ||
owned or operated by the municipality the ability to approve: | ||
(1) amending plats described by Section 212.016; | ||
(2) minor plats or replats involving [ |
||
lots fronting on an existing street, including replats establishing | ||
or modifying the location of a public right-of-way or public access | ||

||

||
(3) a replat under Section 212.0145 involving lots | ||
fronting on an existing street, including replats establishing or | ||
modifying the location of a public right-of-way or public access | ||
[ |
||
|
||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
