R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Neal Katz has ably served as executive director of
  the Collin County Republican Party; and
         WHEREAS, Dedicated to the mission of CollinGOP, Mr. Katz has
  worked tirelessly to promote the Republican philosophy as a
  reflection of traditional Texas values and to support candidates
  for office who will keep the state strong and prosperous; and
         WHEREAS, Under the direction of Mr. Katz, CollinGOP has
  focused on providing support for families, while upholding the
  principles of limited government, opportunity for all, personal
  responsibility, rugged individualism, honest compassion, quality
  education, freedom, and innovative leadership; fostering an
  engaged citizenry, the organization informs the public about local,
  state, and national issues and sponsors such events as the annual
  Lincoln Day Dinner, which features prominent elected officials and
  civic leaders; and
         WHEREAS, Through his commitment to the goals and ideals of
  the Collin County Republican Party, Neal Katz has made a positive
  difference in his community and beyond, and his contributions are
  indeed worthy of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Neal Katz for his exemplary service as
  executive director of the Collin County Republican Party and extend
  to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Katz as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
