Summary
Directs the Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) (who currently is only authorized) to approve an application of an airport operator to have the screening of passengers and property at an airport be carried out by a qualified private screening company (security screening opt-out program).
Title
To amend title 49, United States Code, to direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to approve applications submitted by airport operators for participation in the security screening opt-out program, and for other purposes.
