Summary

Bail bondsmen and bail enforcement agents; arrest for felony offense; reporting. Requires a bail bondsman to report any felony arrest to the Department of Criminal Justice Services within 10 calendar days of the arrest. The bill provides that a licensed bail bondsman who has been arrested for a felony offense shall not issue any new bonds pending the outcome of the investigation by the Department. The bill also reduces from 30 to 10 calendar days the time within which a bail bondsman or bail enforcement agent must report certain other information to the Department.
